As I cruising Rajang basin.... Passin.

Pasin.... we depart from kapit wharf around 11.30am on one beautiful saturday after. The weather was so kind to us for that particular day as it was suppose to be a landas season, November 2008. The sky was clear... We boarded a chartered express boat to Passin. It was an enjoyable journey which took about more than 2 hr trip. It has been many years that i was last boarded express boat. Actually i remind me my old day when I used to travelled up upper rajang river and it tributaries.

H1N1 (setakat 22.7.09, 8.00 pagi)

situasi global.
sehingga 21.7.09, pandemik H1N1 2009 telah melanda ke 158 buah negara dengan melibatkan sebanyak 143,726 kes dengan 812 kematian. Kadar kes fataliti influenzea A H1N1 adalah 0.56% atau 1 kes kematian bagi setiap 180 kes dan berbanding dengan kadar kematian kes denggi di Malaysia iaitu 0.25% atau 1 kes bagi setiap 500 kes.

Situasi d Malaysia
909 pesakit (97%) telah sembuh dan 11 orang (2%) sedang menerima rawatan di hospital, manakala 4 pesakit(1%) masih meneruskan rawatan di rumah.

In Memories..... as I strolled to Padawan

Main road to ulu PadawanMany village in Padawan are not accessible by good road though it is very near to capital city of Sarawak. Some are only reachable by foot. Aram kitai sama sama meda gambar ia ka bisi di ambi aku beberpa taun ia ke udah maya aku gawa dia suba.

bamboo is precious... without it, there is no home
no electricity, no treated water supply...but village folk here are in great shape and optimun health

this trip i will never forget.
