Name list

e-mail received recently;
like to share here;
....
Be careful how you list names on your cell phone. Be safe!
This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag which contained her mobile phone, credit card, purse etc was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called Hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened.

Hubby says "I've just received your sms text asking about our PIN number. I replied a little while ago".

They rushed down to the bank, teh bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen hand phone to text "hubby" in the contact list and got hold of the PIN number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.

The lesson: Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Sayang, Dad, Mum etc.

And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked thru texts, CONFIRM by calling back.

Also, when you're being texed by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call to confirm that the message come from them.

If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet "family and friends" who text you.

Pass it on to people you care.

What I did with my blog today.

Back to the office almost about 5pm after a tiring entire morning meeting. Then around 1pm right after lunch, went to Sekuau for some field duty. Everytime starting blogging I start with peeping at the followers. I was a bit suprise today as there are 3 new followers, 2 are Filipino, another one John unable to link. I always appreciate my new followers by giving feedback in their blog.

Then I continue by reading the comments posted on the entry and replying it back. This is the only ways to appreciate their comment. Beside that read back their blog for new post. So I started with Krisno blog. Somehow Few shots and Hot Spring of Borneo High entry catch my eyes. Really appreciate his photography and editing skill. Great pix bro. Off course not to forget to leave my footprint. Then Coffee Girl blog and the lists goes on..as I was drifted away blogging. Very sorry, unable to mention all... too many.

Thank you very much to all followers, readers and commentator. Keep exchanging.

Buah Petai.

Took some petai fruit picture last weekend during my trip to Sekuau. This petai tree grow right at the backyard of one of the longhouse in Sekuau. My curiousity to know more about petai lead me to do some search from the web. Here are some information to share.

Longhouse.
A plant of the genius Parkia in the family of Fabaceae. Known as Pakia speciosa. It bears long, flat edible beans with bright green seeds which have a preculiar smell. It contains aminoacids that give strong smell to one's urine. Popular among local people. Prepare in different ways but most popular as ulam with sambal belacan. Recipes available upon request.

also can be seen in the pix, banana leave,
tapioca leave and coconut leave.

Petai seeds for sale, Sibu

Petai tree can grow to about 90 feet. It bears a light-bulb shaped mass at the end of long stalks. The flower secrete a nector that attract pollinectors. The flowers mature and die. Long, twisted, translucent pod's emerge ia a cluster of 7 or 8 pods. When those pod's are mature, within them will reside the petai beans or seed.

Exploring the wild nature
